Client Objectives


  • To identify potential investor (s)/buyer (s)/licensing partners in the Indian market.
  • Potential investor/partner to have an existing presence in the Health and Wellness segments and an ability to position this technology in the target segment

Methodology


  • On the basis of existing network of contacts and through secondary research, T&A identified and prepared an initial shortlist of 60 stakeholders
  • Key segments included Medical Device manufacturers, Testing and Diagnostics companies, Fitness Centres, Healthcare Management companies, Wellness, Pharmacy Chains, Dietary & Nutrition, Telecom & Mobile Value Added Service (VAS) providers

Outcome


  • Based on internal evaluation and interest expressed by companies, discussions were held with 7 companies across three major cities
  • India validation visit was organized with key decision makers (i.e. CEO’s and CFO’s )
  • The client finally shortlisted two large Indian companies as potential licensing partners. Shortlisted partners include one of the largest Indian groups in beauty and wellness segment and another Indian company with a strong sales force to sell latest wellness equipment/products to different retail channels
